Although Maverik is a lover by nature, even he knows at times he must become a fighter. And so, knowing the inevitable, the calico seeks training from Cassandra Alexandra Tora, aka 'Alex'. Not only is she trained in Krav Maga, HTH, and Firearms usage from the US Air Force, but she also has her family's practice of Kendo; she's more than qualified!

Hopefully Maverik isn't getting in over his head...

And as a side note, the kanji on Alex's shirt is 'ai', or 'love'.
