Copying poses isn't uncommon. It's one of the many ways people self-teach themselves. Hell, I've done it many times myself. It's only frowned upon when it's a blatant trace and the original source goes uncredited. Or worse; the copycat is making money off of it. D:

I like the mediums you use, it really pops out. Your style also is exceptional. Not just posing models, there is a sense of life and movement in the characters. The colors and the background designs are a nice touch.
