while wandering a Toys'R'Us looking for inspiration, I came upon the blind bags and blind boxes section. invested a little money in a bag and dedicated myself to drawing what I got from it. The only available MLP selection was from the 2017 MLP movie wave.
the character is interesting, the figurine is INCREDIBLY lazy.
blind bag/box challenges are fun, but it requires capital and some can be expensive. baggies are around $3 a pop, but stuff like Breakout Beasts is $20 I cannot easily spare.

I have seen so many dedicated toy stores collapse over the years, mainly thanks to Toys R Us, and later WalMart, Target and now Amazon.
Lionel Play World, Jollies, Toys By Roy, Kaybee, FAO Schwartz, Child World and now Toys R Us.....Gone.
KB Toys was the Mall's version of TRU here in the states, when TRU gobbled them up back in 2009, that alone was shocking. But even here in the states, numerous malls are slowly dying or have died. Numerous once LARGE Thriving malls have gone kaput. YouTube is full of dead mall exploration videos. Malls I once shopped frequently are either gone, shadows of their former selves or struggling to get stores to open up. A large mall near where I live I was at just yesterday had a good dozen stores gone and two flagship stores gone and two more anchor stores dying, JC Penny and Sears. Walking through Sears it was utterly deserted and the once packed full of stuff floor was looking like the remains of a yard sale.
