I approached Sudo back in April about doing the collab and to my great excitement she accepted! ; w ;
I've actually never done a collab before and really enjoyed working on this. It took quite a while to finish due to life delays on my part (unexpectedly busy schedule, moving), but Sudo was very gracious and understanding about it, and I infinitely appreciate that.
About the process:
It seemed that we both enjoy the same parts when when it comes to painting, so instead of splitting up the work into sketch, lineart, color, render, we did something a bit different:
Sudo came up with the idea for the scene, I did a couple initial sketches from which she chose one, and then we passed it back and forth painting over the work until it was done. I'm very happy with the result, personally, and I'm especially floored by the lighting touches she added *_*
I had a lot fun working on this despite so much going on irl and I hope it shows. Go show Sudo some love and check out her other art, her style is fantastic! <3

Coming over from Sudo here. Wanted to say thank you for initiating this collab! Its clear you both put in a ton of effort and the end result is stunning~
Plus it was really great seeing one of the rare cases when the work is pretty evenly split between both parties, and you both work on the same stages. Truly a collaboration!

The various stages and the tweaks each of us added reminded me a lot of receiving and giving paint-overs for critique (something I like a lot, personally), and it was interesting to see and learn from the way Sudo approached it.
