Since everyone wanted me to try and make these ins silver I did. They are a still a bit harder to work with and I wish I could afford a jig but still came out really nice, Personally I like the paw on the top left. hehe thats why its there <3 *giggles*
Anyway commissions and these are open to sale *waggles* Anyways...Spread the word and please help a digimon out. Thanks.

What sort of wire is it? Sounds like it isn't annealed. I know the wire for hanging drop ceilings bends easily and its can be polished up to look like silver. Also try copper core colored wire like Michael's and Joann's carry.
Use nails in a piece of scrap wood for a jig, the nails will stay put better, particularly since you can drive them deep into the wood, much deeper than pushpins into a clip board.

Annealed, it means heat softened. It can be applied to any metal though the process varies with the metal (as I found out the hard way) Most of the time, it leaves a bit of a black coating on steel wire but I know that goes away with the application of sand paper.
I work with all sorts of wire for a myriad of applications. I bet those would look great in some of the colored copper core wire (http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog/.....ODID=xprd75892). It is certainly easier to bend than not-annealed steel.
