Preparing for the next project after my Tauren Druid.
It's a method they taught us at school, to draw a small scribble with color and all to work out the layout, lights, shadows and colors of a piece.
Fun stuff.
It's just thought as a help when working on the real image, plus it's a first scribble. It's all about the composition and the colors and not about being a 100% correct or realistic (his jaws won't be off in the real picture).

I just saw the movie a couple of days ago for the first time.
I heard a lot of people call it crap, but I enjoyed it. There's some really awesome ideas in it, the Scrunt being one. It really hard to find reference images, you google for them and all you get is one tiny 300 pixels picture of the one they had at the movie premiere.
Needs more Scrunt. Period.

It would seem that you learned a neat way to art: just play with a scribble, light, and eventually build a form and an image.
I wish that I could have been taught that - it could have showed me how to relax with digital art instead of tensing up so much that my shoulder muscles hurt afterwards.
All of that aside, this is a wonderful image. Thanks for developing your idea and sharing it.
