Well guys, here is the second clickety-clack special... Ever. This time on possibly one of the biggest things I've ever bought (at least this year). Let's do it!

My history: I've never owned the super station since I'm a broke hillbilly. So when this came out I was relatively excited as it's pretty cool that Mattel made an affordable set for those who can't afford the all-inclusive super station, plus it sort-of ties in to the new Thomas special "digs and discoveries". I've waited a long time for this and now that I have it, I can say it's the best thing Mattel has made in a LONG time.

Pros:
1: much like the super station, this has multiple layout options including

And even then, there's a few more possibilities.
2: even though it's inaccurate, I like how stefano double as a constuction vehicle, therefore increasing playability. There are even things you can attach to him including a shovel, a claw, a drill and a winch which can also be attached to the side of his hull so you can pick up treasure and things from the bottom of the sea.
3: although it isn't pictured, the inside of stefano's hull has multiple molded details, that's pretty cool.

Cons:
1: though the helipad is cool, it feels out of place since its only real purpose is to attach ramps so you can race engines down it. Since the helipad in the set, I feel Harold should have been included so that it would feel more welcome in this set.

Extra notes:
1: I don't know why, but stefano's face doesn't look like it does on the show, was it possibly an original design?

Final score: 9/10 almost practically perfect in every way.
