This took way longer than it should have. =\ Never underestimate the difficulty of a simple design.
Anything you do wrong is 149 times more obvious...
This little fella is made from Sculpty on top of a wire/foil frame (so that he's not TOO heavy). Painted with acrylic and finished off with a glaze.
Stands about 3.5" tall.
I really like him from the back, for some reason.
ANYWAY. Only piece I have left to do for my port is to finish Aska.
SNORT, I wish (I doubt he's gonna get done)

To give a stronger 2-D, you could give it to (or show it to) them with the figure placed in a coloured box with no top and no front,
probably black would be best, though a white box may make the light strike the figure more evenly making the brush strokes a little harder to see.
You've done a wonderful job at it, that's for sure!
I hope that the 'schools of the fine arts' see it as I do, because it really is a tip top rendition!
Lets just hope they like cute things, I'm told that some examiners don't... But that's based on information from Europe, they're tough and really conservative on the arts there, that is, unless you're applying for a sequential arts degree in France or Belgium.
Well, again, break a leg!

It's a place where people submit designs for plastic toys and if you get enough support they make them :)

Thank you vury much~
You should give it a go~ A box of plain sculpty isn't all that spendy, and it's really nice to work with (though I prefer actual kiln fire clay, personally). I've actually been playing with clay since I was a wee one, hehe, because my mom likes to make little things for the house.
