
First full-body image of Sherryl since her introductory pic on VCL, the concept for this image was to be among the few who can draw Converse Chuck Taylors correctly.
The original for this image was a 3" high stick figure. What makes this image a milestone for me was that it's the first pic I've done almost entirely digitally. Using the stick figure only as a pose guide, every element of the pic was drawn a shape at a time in Deneba Canvas 7 (a Flash-like vector image app). Even the laces on her Chucks are composed of dozens of overlapping shapes. There are something like a couple of hundred individual shapes composing this pic.
