So about 8 months ago,I made some moodboards as inspiration for some characters that I wanted to create. but other than Mimosa I’d kind of let them all go to the wayside.
Then, tonight, I was struggling to work on a project that I’m hoping to put out soon, and I decided to stop beating my head against the wall and just do something for fun, because creating something for no important reason is better than not creating anything.
So I riffled through my giant disorganized folder of WIPs and found my sketches of this moodboard character and out came my new boi!!

They/them and he/him pronouns for this kid, please.
Fizz is 24 years old
He is short, 5 feet exactly, but like any possum, he hangs from his tail in high places, so he doesn’t think much of his height
He is neurodivergent, though undiagnosed.
His special interest is strange phenomenon like aliens, cryptids, and the occult, but he hates slasher movies and true crime. He specifically finds the unknown exciting, but violence upsets him.
He stims by curling his tail up and back out, and running his fingers through his hair quickly.
He has also been known to “play dead” (straight up pass out) from stress.
He can get frustrated easily, and struggles to find the right words to explain his feelings, but his mouth often runs faster than his brain, so he’s often seen as dramatic or judgmental.
He cries pretty easily.
But if someone is patient with him, he is extremely loyal to that person, and eager to please them. He loves giving his friends and lovers little presents, like snacks and little crafts he’s made, or even just little things that made him think of that person.
He is obsessed with salty foods and trying any new unique snacks. Dill pickle is his favorite variety.
He cannot deal with scratchy fabric, or loud voices.
He hates milk.
He’s just trying his best. Please don’t give this boy any deadlines, he’s too fragile.
*whispers* this is probably the most I’ve ever written about one of my characters in one sitting, but I just really feel this one *smooches Fizz gently on the head* (ɔˆз(ˆ⌣ˆc)

Can I doodle them with my opossum Ash??? I really need to draw them more and this is giving me inspiration. I love the colors of this design!
