It's called Klean Klay. I'm using it because I am going to be mold and casting this mask into a plastic/resin final and painting it.

I'm curious, have you ever done anything to incorporate animatronics into a mask? I mighta asked in the past, but I'm half asleep and have a bad memory to begin with.

I haven't done animatronics yet, but usually that stuff is done by someone else and then people like me will "skin" it. Collaborative efforts, whoot.
However, the tail for Haze has mechanics to it, though they aren't animatronics they are powered by my legs moving. Someone else built it and now I'm going to skin it (or when I get the money to get enough clay to do so anyways XD)

Ooo.. The mechanics of the tail sound very neat. I was wondering how one might get something nifty like that put together.

Good to know about how the anamatronic stuff works, too. Now all I'd have to do is put together about three grand in 'free spending money' to get a good costume done.

I know you'd mentioned you're eventually gonna put some sort of cooling system in your Haze outfit? Or am I going nuts?

Hehe, yus, this stuff is pricey x-x Is why I don't have more costumes of my own quite yet. Gotta get past paying off school loans and all that fun stuff before I can have the "spare money" for more fun, hahaha.

Yus, we're working on cooling units for Haze and for my friend's costume Clockwork. :)  chimericalcreations is a partner group with me and we work together for different projects :)
