Introducing Malik
My new macro hyena character, Malik Zalam... or just "master" or "god" if you're in his power. >:3
This comes about for multiple reasons. I do occasionally play the bigfur, my general microness notwithstanding, but I've generally been uncomfortable doing that as Shiro. It's not really in his nature to be macro, dom, cruel, stompy, and all that... quite the opposite. But, I didn't want to close off that kind of RP or art altogether, since it is something I do occasionally like to do. Moreso since getting back from FC 2010, which was pretty much the best thing ever and mostly ended my depression, and for that I do not begrudge it being the single most expensive trip I've ever taken in my life. So, the logical solution? Create another character!
Like Shiro, Malik is an aspect of me and based on me, though more of his traits are occasional or suppressed for me as compared to my main. He still doesn't have what other people would consider a 100% "ideal" body... I have a little cuddlepudge, and so do my characters. He has gold markings like Shiro does, tying them together more and again marking it as an aspect of me, and is still very smart. But in most other ways he is Shiro's opposite, starting with the obvious (dark instead of light in coloration) and proceeding from there. Where Shiro is tiny, submissive, and often a little shy, Malik is large, dominant, and confident. He often appraises people in terms of how useful or detrimental they are to him and has a good sense of how to turn situations and other people to his benefit. He likes worship and adulation and is exceedingly grumpy when ignored. He makes plans far ahead, wheels within wheels. He is aggressive but controlled, and knows exactly what he wants and isn't afraid to just seize it - kind of like how I myself got my side job as a contractor with a game company by just walking up to someone and asking for it, and have held onto it since. Some of his traits I wish I had more of, others I only have a little of and don't even want those, others I'm just indifferent to or fine with how they are, but still, to various degrees he's part of me.
TL;DR version - here's my new big stompy vorey macro hyena character. Rawr >:3
