Raphaela is a gryphon, I was still struggling with seeing her as anything but an eagle till Os suggested the ears. Sketched those in, added the lion tail.. and poof, she looked like a gryphon. Then a quick color and here she is in magnificent glory. ^_^ I think I'm rather fond of her. heh.
