The honey pot dragon, is a species of reptilian dragon whose body naturally produces gallons of a honey like substance in a reservoir beneath each of its belly scales. Throughout the day this honey builds and builds, accelerated by their natural cravings for sugary sweets, as it builds each individual belly scale swells up with the stuff, the most of it is stored in their long bloated tails where the honey can be secreted through a vent in their tail tip. A standard honey pot dragon can produce almost a gallon an hour if they eat their common excess of sugary and sweet things, eventually it will build to a point where they must release some to reduce the swelling of their belly plates, they are not fond of wasting the stuff so they will tend to engorge themselves with it, leading to rampant obesity amongst their kind seeing as the bigger the dragon, the more potent their honey shall become, they will also use it to polish their scales, and offer it to anyone else who wishes to try, though have been known to coil up others in their tails and force them to devour the stuff when their full to a point of desperation and refuse to fatten themselves.

Their colors range from flat color throughout the body, to many variations of elegant stripes, markings, and so on, two colored bodies tend to be the most common, while the gold colored ones referred to as "pure" honey pots have lived on nothing but their own honey since birth, and tend to be massively obese.

They tend to be very docile and friendly, usually greeting others with a friendly coiling of their tail around the body, showering another in their honey while doing so is also a sign of deep affection towards them.
