This was done as the first panel to a quick-joke kind of comic ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3622541/ ), but I ended up liking it better than the entire comic.

Poi drawings turned out much harder than I expected. I'm still not really all that happy with it, but I'm not sure how to fix it at this point. I think the biggest problem was I started off trying to be realistic. This resulted in a realistic pose and a fire trail that kind of matched the move being done (a corkscrew), but at the cost of a dynamic feel with a fun dance-like pose. It also resulted in some strange twisty arm movements which are completely accurate, but weird-looking.
