Yeah, I know, not exactly an "artsy" title. The last of the Caption Contest Winner prizes (
came in second, if I recall aright), this one took a bit longer. Probably because I got stupid obsessive with the clouds. I just wanted a nice background for Graeth to be flying against. I'd originally intended this to a be a "quick" sketch, but the clouds got to me. I have this driven urge to learn how to paint them better. These ones are nice, but they still don't hit that note. Oh well, I'll keep at it. >^__^<
One guy I really admire, nay, practically WORSHIP for his mad cloud skillz is Maxfield Parrish. Google his name sometime, I guarantee, his art will floor you with how purely PRETTY it is...

Mewwwww... Well, cancer seems to follow me around like a cloud... *sigh* I've lost three friends to it, one other has been in remission for a good while, my own brother had a melanoma removed from his cheek (when he was 20, for crying out loud!), and now my mother-in-law just got out of the hospital on Monday after having her tumors removed... So, yeah, it's one of those subjects with me. *huggles*
