Using them both is difficult since they're both Dark type, and Fighting type moves are pretty commonly learned by many different Pokemon. I would suggest just training Houndour, since Houndoom is an absolute beastly Pokemon, and he'd cover you for your fire type too.

Heee! ^^ I love using Houndoom, but this time around I'm trying to play through the game with Rocket themed pokemon. It's not easy having a lot of poison types though, so I'm trying for Team Rocket looking pokemon too. I would use houndoom since it's a dark type, but I already have my fire type for my team XD
