This is Ellie, one of the fennecs at the animal shelter/zoo I work for! She's totally my little buddy, too.
When you pick her up, she cuddles against your chest, it's so cute! And then when ya put her down, she "shakes off the human."
And those are her "cellmates" behind her:
Jiffy fox, a boy fox who's afraid of everybody, and
Curly, a girl who's got some bone troubles. She was born with her leg bones curled, but it doesn't affect her movement...she just moves lower to the ground than the rest XD

Ffff. Fennec ;w; She has a nice thick coat so I'm assuming it's winter time.
If you happen to work for the same place, this is kind of an odd question but: do you think you could ask them what they do when animals pass on?
Not being morbid, I do taxidermy and I'd like to have a fennec fox to mount up. These little fellows are so cute. I can't seem to get a hold of any zoos or breeders about them.
