sorry if its to wordy.
The picture is well colored and rendered. In some cases it might be a bit "over rendered"?...don't know if there is a term for this.
Like in the face. Some of the facial wrinkles look very deep. It threw me off slightly. As with the ears. im having trouble figuring out how to describe it properly. They almost appear to be a solid shape rather than have that thin cup like shape ears would have.
the hair is pretty good i think. Well rendered and i have a thing for blue. personal preference i guess.
The way the highlights on the face and the gloves look very similar. The light on them seem to diffuse in the same way making them look like if they are both the same material. Its not bad. The gloves look great really but it makes me think that she almost looks like she is a bit synthetic rather than organic. This is mostly only in the face. Her cleavage looks just a tiny bit to high the way it goes all the way up to her collar bone. not really an issue.
I actually like the skirt. Im guessing its a pleated skirt and like you address earlier to it seeming "flat" i think it might be the little gold trim on it. It seems to make the pleats look very small if non-existent.Im assuming its pleated so if its not then this is pretty mute. Sorry bout that
Overall again i think its a pretty awesome piece man. I really dig the line less color work. The gloves came out fantastic and some of the small details like the zipper are pretty good as well. Most of the things that im addressing in my critique are mostly due to slightly over or under-rendering small areas i think. Which when working on a big coloring piece is the kinda thing that is easy to over look. Sometimes it takes other eyes to see these things. The use of both hard and soft shadowing is great but can be hard to mix in some surfaces. This is the only piece you have that's colored like this so i don't feel comfortable saying "you should fix it like this" because im guessing your still developing this coloring style yeah? I would just say be careful using to many hard sharp shadows on faces. Places where definition would really show like where bones would protrude a bit under the skin ie. knuckles..kneecaps and elbows hard shadows are fine. doesn't mean you have to restrict them only to those places. im sure if you keep coloring like this the color work itself will develop and the things i pointed out will probably start to look more natural
