so true on this with the filling of pages with just ideas, I think i started some of my best pics that way, but the form on this is really nice, mine is still kind of based on solid sketch instead of making circles

Everyone has a different way of working on their pieces. Some tend to "skip steps" because they have them so well practiced. ;)

One of the things I found that helpes a lot with this one was working with teh 'Negative space'. By working the negative space in between bits and around the outside, I was able to better define certain parts of the hand. :)
