He's not actually your friend. He's some stranger who impersonates your friend to get you to come running. Its true. One of Qurupeco's main abilities is that he can imitate other Wyvern's calls. And of course they come running to their aid only to find it wasn't something of their species that brought them to the fray.

And get this. Not only does he trick people, He calls them and then leaves while the hunters are distracted! What an Asshole!
