absolutely - I want no outside thoughts filtering into the gray matter prior to my start - that and if someone else had the same idea I would have to start all over again.

Why is it that I could totally see this happening? :) I think you nailed it, even me talking to the egg at the end seemed like the perfect fit. And no worries about the icon. You're more than welcome to use it if you want.

I'd do a series featuring me cajoling different prompters to spend a little time sitting there but I think I'd have a lot of trouble getting certain wolverines to do it. Though that'd definitely be something to see.

Actually, he wears them for the comfort of others. It's not like petrification beams constantly shoot from his eyes...bees don't rush to sting you and spiders don't bite you with every chance they get (at least most wouldn't). :> But some sort of safety gear is usually polite.

I like it because it gives me a little more background on basilisks (because everyone online seems to have their own opinion). But I love it because it's like everyday happenings, you know? A day in the life... going to a con (how 'normal' is that?) and just having bad timing.
