Thanks so much! I definitely think this is probably my best sprite from a technical standpoint. The samus ship is my favorite for sheer size.
I actually iron these beads all together. They're plastic beads that are designed to melt. You lay ironing/parchment paper over the top, and then carefully (and it takes a lot of time/skill/patience with larger sprites) iron over the beads to melt them. This fuses them together.
