Let me take a little break from the "BBS" series, just to post a piece of older art from the anthropomorphic APAzine "Rowrbrazzle"...
Back in late 2002, I took it upon myself to assemble a special "Artist's Jam" for the publication's 75th issue (or its "Diamond issue") - collecting mini-sketches of various characters (past and present) that had appeared on its pages. Nearly three dozen different artists submitted material to said "Artist's Jam".
For the cover art, I drew my bobcat 'fursona' reading the "Diamond Issue" - wearing a jeweler's fob, in the process. As an homage to one of the APAzine's contributors who was no longer with us, I drew a little gag cover of "Rowrbrazzle" (in the lower left corner) with 'Zonie' - the coyote character of Michael-Scot McMurry (a.k.a. 'McMoo'), who'd passed away in April, 2001. Said gag had 'Zonie' carrying a small cactus with three scoops of ice cream on it, as a cool treat for a hot day in the desert.
BTW, to those members who'd contributed to my "Artist's Jam" for the 100th Issue of "Rowrbrazzle" (and you know who you are), who are wondering why it never got printed, my short explanation is simply this: I became depressed when certain others (who shall remain anonymous) cast aspersions on my project - stating that it was a big waste of time... I disagree. And as soon as I regain control of my senses (and find several pieces of material), I shall finish putting it together and send it out to each and every one of its participants - in spite of the fact that "Rowrbrazzle" is already up to Issue #105 (at this time/May, 2010). Thank you for your patience...

I forgot to mention that the stacks of back issues (in my art piece) were inspired by the huge collection owned by 'Brazzler Steven F. Scharff of Henderson, NV (who also contributed to my "BBS" series). He has been a member of the APAzine since Issue #2; so, naturally, his stockpile of back issues is piled real high! When he used to live in Union, NJ, he'd lent me a couple of back issues at a time for my perusal - which, subsequently, led to my becoming a 'waiting lister', and eventually a member of "Rowrbrazzle"!
