The gigantic feline looked at a spot on the ground, tapping his quill against his muzzle in thought, the way he always did when he was stuck. The purple feather batted past his nose, tickling him and slowly pulling him out of his reverie. His eyes refocused, the papers he had already written on coming back into view, and the short green grass beyond it.
As if a switch had been thrown, his other senses returned. He could hear the sounds of the city in the distance, and the chirping of birds in the trees that barely reached past his bare chest. He also heard timid whispers, and he looked down, smiling at what he saw.
Despite his daunting size, several furs had entered the park to get a closer look at this huge snow leopard sitting so peacefully, wondering what he was doing. The feline beamed at them, letting them know he meant no harm. He tapped his muzzle with the quill again, trying to concentrate on his writings. He found that he couldn’t focus; he always loved it when people came to watch him. His tail moved of its own accord, coming to rest beside his folded legs, in anticipation of the occasional brave person who would come up to stroke it.
His eye was suddenly caught by a red fox, who couldn’t have been higher then his ankle, waving rapidly up at him, the gesture obviously friendly. The snow leopard smiled his widest smile yet, lowering his quill and raising the other paw, returning the gesture for a few seconds, soft happy chuckles escaping him. Still smiling, he returned to his papers.
This is an outstanding picture by
teaselbone I received this as a gift from
averagejoey in return for a story I did for him. I really couldn't be happier with this pic. It's the best one I have, my new favourite.
Now, I'm not usually macro. I've been known to be on Skype with friends, but I'm not a giant as a rule. However when Joey said he wanted to get me a picture I knew I'd have to do something of this nature.
This picture really epitomizes what I love about the macro/micro fetish. I'm a gentle and nice person, I would never use my size against others. I'm a very friendly (and cuddly!) macro.
Big big hugs to TeaselBone and Joey for making me feel so good inside. Thanks for helping make more of what I love to see, pictures of friendly macros!
