Ah, so honing the War Form beyond that in the book. Reminds me of the Lunar I'm playing now, who's basically a fuzzy Genghis Khan, only he doesn't spread his territory. He's more content just making sure that the tribe he leads (some of which worship him, because yay for Essence) survives in the North, what with the Bull of the North doing the conquering thing.

Fergus has teamed up with a solar (previously discovered to be the one he is bonded to) and pretty much set out to strengthen the dragon blooded cities that have seceded from the Scarlet Empire. He and Fergus go with the blessing of Unconquered Sun...and while that helps to ease tension in some cases, other times it becomes difficult to just walk in to town and proclaim yourselves heroes.

And yes...he absolutely vain about his War Form.

Ah, Solar Bond. Such a fun background. Where I play, the staff let you take it for free, since it's a story hook they can use. So naturally, I tool Solar Bond 5. I've yet to decide who, but I might throw it out to wards one of the other players. Maybe an Infernal for maximum drama =p

I think I might only take the War Form as far as Terrifying Ogre Enhancement before focussing more on mass combat and martial arts charms. Currently mixing Lunar Hero and White Reaper Style, the latter because I'm a sucker for spear weapons ^^;; Who needs a Daiklaive when you've got an axe on a long stick! =p And if that doesn't work, you leap in and tear them apart with your bare (or bear) hands!

I need to look into that White Reaper Style, cuz Fergus also uses a huge Dire Spear. And Fergus rates a 1 in mas combat du to his size LOL.

My true passion is the Dire Scythe. I have another Lunar that make make one literally out of his own aura, with a custom crafts charm. This guy has a Solar Bond 5 with an Abyssal.

White Reaper Style is in Glories Most High - Luna. Has some funky mechanics around using arcs of essence from defeated foes to boost attack and defense. Compatible with armor and considers scythes and spears as part of the MA.

Solar Bond 5 with an Abyssal? I bet that's fun XD Then again, if your goal is to be the biggest thing on the battlefield, it probably doesn't clash too much.

No no, that Solar Bond is with another Lunar. Hes a tiny fennec fox with a silver and gold pelt...that shows up in every form he takes. He's a specialist of combat sorcery. He started off as a slave from House Cynis. He has recurring nightmares given to him from the deathlord that took his mate.

Now that I think about it, I may have that book on PDF. Both Lunars would love this style.

I was about to say, I didn't know Lunars could come from Solar Exaltations ^^;; But yeah, White Reaper Style is awesome, especially later on in the tree. With my Lunar as he is now, I've had one bad guy literally give up trying to kill him, since I'd absorb the halos to heal lethal damage, then use Halting The Scarlet Flow (both Gifted and standard use) to leap back up with my full health levels, which are already pretty insane thanks to a few Iron Ox Body charms. Sure, his soak is pretty low since I don't have armor charms and rely on an Artifact Lamellar, but if it isn't agg damage, he just laughs it off. It's awesome.

Fergus has the armor charms, maxed out on OX Body, and uses the essence regaining attack charm (i forget the name), and has a grandfathered in first ed ability to regenerate lethal in War Form. Our Storyteller didn't like that they took that away from the Lunars. I think hes got somewhere around 40 health levels, including dying. And you dont bleed out in War Form so dying count as regular. On top of a heartstone that allows me to soak lethal like bashing. Hes maxed out on soaking charms, so he ignores the affects of death and dying as long as he has essence. He has been given the name "The Relentless Fang". He has armor not shown in the picture there.

Yeah, the regen thing from first ed was shunted over to a Gifted Halting The Scarlet Flow. I don't have Ox Body maxxed out yet, but it is planned. Such a shame that DBT Stamina doesn't add to it =p Still, I'm at something like 30 or so levels, including Dying levels. Always fun.

My Lunar abandoned his old name when he Exalted. He figured that the old him died and now he had the power of a god, so he needed a new identity. After killing a few intruders to his homeland and sending a few back injured as messages, he finally got the name of 'White Wild Majesty' and bam, it stuck. Because who needs an actual name =p

Fergus is the last of his particular tribe, except for his solar partner who exalted in the fight the decimated their tribe. He keeps his old name to honor that. They died from a Wyld Hunt. Now that I think about it, that would normally be a reason for revenge...but Fergus in the end never blamed a soldier for following an order, even Dragon Blooded.

Love the kilt and especially the markings all along the fur. A really nice look.
