And it's the first picture of Nova, yay!
Seems like she's always in the shadows....

This is very, very awesome! The fellow did do a rather wonderful job on this.
Must be creepy going to a mirror and having that happen, though I have an explanation, this is a hotel, you just checked in. The manager enjoys to make a little extra money, so the mirrors are all two way. He gave the "hidden" room to Nova, but when you went to see if your hair was alright, you noticed her because she forgot to turn off the red light on her side. I don't think it was unintentional though (it's all for effect, I'm sure). At that moment, some late medieval poet on a journey across the three planes of the afterlife arrives and begins to say this:
As soon as I became aware of them,
Esteeming them as mirrored semblances,
To see of whom they were, mine eyes I turned,
And nothing saw, and once turned them forward
Direct into the light of my sweet Guide,
Who smiling kindled in her holy eyes.
"Marvel thou not," she said to me, "because
I smile at this thy puerile conceit,
Since on the truth it trusts not yet its foot,
But turns thee, as 'tis wont, on emptiness.
True substances are these which thou beholdest,
Here relegate for the breaking of some.
Therefore speak with them, listen and believe;
For the light, which giveth peace to one,
Permits the other not to turn from it her feet."
And I unto the shade that seemed most hateful
To speak directed me, and I began,
As one whom too great eagerness bewilders:
But she said nothing, so I went on my way.
THE END
Though I still wonder what the other may have said if I had stayed.
But my mind knew that mysterious verses would be the only things I could have heard.
But the voice spoke to me:
Observe the doctrine that conceals itself
Beneath the veil of the mysterious verses.
Fortunately I did not have to decipher them.
(did that make any sense, did to me for some reason... well it's a wonderful picture he did!)

Haha! :D I would love that! :P
Yeah... it's more just being hurt about the whole thing, rather than actually being disappointed or anything. I'm glad not to have the responsibilties, but the long and short of it is that someone I trusted dearly betrayed me and that's really what upset me, not so much the lack of award :)
