
A rescued piece, I only wish I was responsible for making the insane level of detail in the gnarled finger nails and back of the knuckles... This is one of three marvelous pieces I got from a peer in my class named Sam. The glaze used is known as Raku. Very interesting thing to watch, I suggest googling it XP

lols this thing could totally be a zombie hand.... and anywhere there isn't glaze, turns black in the raku firing process... but part of it fell against the kaoilin wool in the kiln and wiped glaze away sorta, creating this crazy wrinkly black dead flesh bit on the down on the bottom on the back of the hand, it's crazy XP
