I have a friend who is going threw the same thing, its debilitating thing but time heals old wounds one way or another, a very good pic, lots of emotion that i can feel love the edition of the cell phone, add sort of a back story to it.

not all wounds can be entirely healed by time - some wounds leave behind deep scars. - the pain however dulls over time...

Really there's no need for a description of events here. Phone, pills, tears etc all tell the story better then words could. Turned out great in color.

Yeh, just like everyone else that's posted, I do know how this feels. And just like NSFW, it was sleepy pills for me. But I never over did it, just enough to conk me out. But we never technically dated. She pretty much just led me on for a couple years, asking me to come visit and such. And 3 weeks before I did, she told me she's been dating someone else for the last 6+months. The whole trip costed me $3,000+. Never fun. I still went, just to visit NYC. Was fun, but not quite what I expected...

But yeah, enough boring emo stuffs. I really do like the picture, and agree 100% with Silverone. Keep it up! This is very nice picture and it's something everyone's gone through countless times. I'm not emo, but I do love the darker pictures. They show more feeling than any other ones. Especially ones like yours. Keep it up!

Did a great job for being so critical on your environments. The way you have the carpet below him sort of flow around him, it seems like he's been lying there for a while, the kinda imprint you make in a rug that you know someone's been there. The lighting is fantastic! Great use on the sun coming through the shades and the glow of the cell phone is a nice touch.

The one thing I'd comment on is the way the blanket is folded. It something about it looks a bit off but other than that, amazing facial expression and position, this piece really speaks a million words and I think we've all been through something like this. Thanks for drawing it.

.... Just lost the love of my life last Tuesday because he was feeling " distant" ... I put my all in this person and gave years of my life to come out on the other side as friends.... I cried in my room for days and had considered anti depressants . This picture really speaks truth about what it's like when a relationship fails because one of the two decide there a different person and that it's ok to just drop everything you have invested in them. This pic hit me hard ..

I know exactly how he feels. It looks all too familiar but I got drunk instead of the pills. I promised myself I'd never get like that again. This is just a simply beautiful piece.

It's also fun when the emo strikes and then you realize you've got no one to call about it.
