Vosur Aekira was first introduced to the basics of wind-control from an old scroll given to him by Xaon Chiades, his Sensei from the time he spent in the military. It explained how one could manipulate the world around them spiritually, which Vosur started pondering if his research in the "spiritual energy" might have connections to this. He first tried with solid materials: dirt, metals, powders, ect... all of them unyielding to his trying to will their shape to his desires. He moved onto liquids: mercury metal, bromides, non-lethal liquids, water... all also not budging to his efforts. Lastly, he went onto vapors: non-caustic chemicals (while he wore a specialized gas-mask) and then steam, both unwilling to budge to his will. After the air was cleared, he started to show frustration as he took off the mask, tossing it to the side and then taking a faux-swing at a distant empty chemical bottle. The bottle completely tipped over and fell off the table, shattering when it fell on the floor. It seemed to him that his body and spirit were in tune more with the air around him than with any other physical material, his experimentations with the air seemed to bring about almost-unnoticeable results (except to himself), the best use for this finding was that he could defend himself more easily or create a distraction by becoming a small, stationary hurricane.
And hence his technique is named "The Eye of the Hurricane".
Part of a series, along with the last artwork I did for Vosur. That's why they look a bit similar. :P
