Yes, they're both aliens and they're both predators.
The two species are referred to as Xenomorphs and Yautja respectively.
They're more commonly referred to as just "Alien" and "Predator" due to the name of their respective franchises. Sometimes you will hear people refer to the Xenomorphs as a Giger Alien, referencing the artist whose designs inspired the looks for the movie "Alien," H R Giger.
