So for those who either didn't figure it out, or didn't make it to the con, the big surprise was this! Flux branded energy drink :D While I was in suit I was giving these away to people that I interacted with and basically whoever would ask for one.
I started with 144 cans and handed almost all of them out. Unfortunately at this point there are no more to distribute unless I might do another run of them in the future.

The site I got it from was http://www.privatelabelenergydrink.com/ There are a few other companies that do it was well, though it takes a bit of calling around. I had a few issues with this company, though everything did eventually go through in the end.
Sure, this idea was great for promotion, though there is just a cool factor with it. There are way too many ideas in life that people think of and say "wouldn't it be cool if", but never really go through with anything. So this was me taking a little step forward, doing something that I think would be awesome ^^

Unless Drink Ink's prices are way higher than XBrand Fluid's prices (which may be true, DI doesn't have a price list anywhere that I saw, XBrand does: http://www.xbrandfluids.com/taglines/pricelist.php ) selling these for $2.50+shipping, or flat $3.00/can would squeak some loose change out of each can sold.
I mean, seriously, they can squeeze $5.00/can for energy drinks at the airport or more, because folks are stuck there buying them 'inside the perimeter' then. May be too much of a PITA, but I'd imagine some folks would buy a few or a case of these in the future if given the chance. =^.^=

You can get very cheap prices from companies, but it all depends on the volume you wish to purchase. For any small quantity, meaning less then $1000 in product, your stuck around the $2.00+ range. Not to say someone couldn't sell it for more, but it's too much effort for the profit margin.
The funny part is, there are many companies online like xbrandfluids.com, however most of them are out of business. I believe I tried their phone number when I was looking for companies and it was "out of order". >>

I was so happy when I got one of these after dancing around with you! Then I got really dizzy and tired after drinking it, passed out, and woke up chained to some guy's bed. He kept telling me to put lotion on my face and when I didn't he sprayed me with a hose. Crazy as all hell... can't believe you rufeed me after all that! >:{

As I had explained to a few of my friends, life is full of could'as or should'as, sometimes you just need to take those cool ideas you come up with and go with it. That was my plan here and I think it worked out very well ^^

Heh, i got one, however i gave it to a friend of mine :P - what happend is that you were sneaking up on him while we were in line, and i had my cam. on you, and he thought i was filming him - nope XD - he got a good scare. So for the memory, i let him have the can. lost most of my Saturday pics though :(

Yes to both? O.o The company I got it from cans their own drink and will custom shrink wrap label them for people. The drink itself is not based off a commercial brand so it has a unique flavor, but the drink was not custom formulated. Things like custom flavors and actual printing on the can are offered, but you need to buy much much more then I did.
I somehow managed to get my paws on one. But for the record, I found it. It's sitting in my fridge right now, staying cold and away from the evil heat that is summertime.
I've also been thinking about wanting to create a unique energy drink of my own and sell for a bit of profit (and the label too). Any idea where I can get started? Your idea inspired me. :)

Thedrinkink.com was where I ended up getting the drinks from. Though, from what I've found, you need to put a fairly large investment up front before you can get to any acceptable profit margin. There are plenty of other businesses that do similar things, I would say look around and see what you find ^^
Hehehe, it was awesome meeting you at AC! You snuck up on one of our friends while we were drawing in the Zoo and scared the poop out of him! But then you also gifted us one of these awesome drinks- everyone at the table tried it, and it was awesome! I hope you make more to bring next year :D thanks so much for sharing with us!

hmmm well this is interesting. i have worked for a 7-11 in the past and have seen many strange and interesting forms of energy drinks come along. though i didn't get to see you or may have and not got to visit while you stormed around at no doubt hyper speeds energied by these i kinda wish i did get one from you. even if i may not have been able to take it home to Canada... due to flight restrictions.
but anyway back on topic as i said i have seen many but of all the forms of energy drinks and patterns and logos they throw on em this has to be the single best design i have seen on an energy drink can. i must bow my head to you for all the time and expense it must have taken to bring this to life. *bows to you and favs the picture*

That means a lot really! It was certainly an adventure just coming up with the design of the can, and I certainly had to go through a number of revisions before I finally was happy with the result. I think I like this design the most because, although it has it's complexities, it appears very simplistic and clean at the top level. I only wish the printing on the actual cans was as accurate as the art, there were a few differences that bugged me, but not enough to see in the pictures. ^^
*shi nods* more then welcome the work is seen and the effort is proven even in how the cans ended up even with you not approving of everything about them *smiles*

Wheeee, I have a can! And I haven't drunk it yet, and now that i know that it's limited, I maybe won't at all! :O :O Will it ruin the drink if i un-chill it and then re-chill it later if I wanted to display it somewhere? :3 I'll try to get you a can photo next to my mascot and some of my work
