Say hello to Anthony. He’s a big stuffed lion my friend gave me for Christmas one year. Me and were on the phone yesterday just talking about random stuff. And it hit me, Anthony should be made into one of my furry characters. And Nate totally agreed.
At first I thought ok, here’s another character I have to draw a ref sheet for and I’ve already got four to do…
And then sitting here I realized a better idea. A contest.

So here’s the game plan. I’m looking for a picture of Anthony, as a big handsome lion. It doesn’t have to be ref sheet style if that’s not your thing, but it can be. I’m not picky, whatever floats your boat. As long as the pic includes some sort of full body view of him, you’re welcome to have fun with it.
You’re welcome to add any piercings, markings, etc.. that you want. Im not much for plain stuff, so spice him up a bit.

Some things about Anthony:
He is gay. Fuchsia lion = gay XD
The yellow on his face extends to his stomach too, like on a regular lion.
His body isfuchsia
His face/underbelly is yellow
His mane is lime green
His paw pads are orange (on hands and feet)
His eyes areelectric blue
His nose is hot pink
His tongue is purple
I like my characters with the digigrade legs

I WILL NOT judge this based upon drawing ability. Its all about the design. And if I like MOST of your design more than anyone elses, you’ll win. Some things may be tweaked in the final version.

This contest will be open all summer long, so don’t feel rushed. I havent picked an exact date yet.
To get put on the list of entries, you MUST provide a link to a journal you post advertising this, as I would like to have more than a handful of entries to chose from.
And the prize will be a free one character colored picture of your choice.
