On that fateful day in Bennet Forest, Avis Brightwing attempted to drain the great planeswalker, Nishidor, of every last drop of his magical power. However, his plan was thwarted by the heroic efforts of Xander, Oxnard, and Scooter Squirrel.
In the end, Avis only got away with roughly 50% of Nishidor’s power with the rest being shared between Xander, Oxnard, and Scooter. However, this power was not distributed evenly. Rather, due to his demonic possession, Avis took a large portion of Nishidor’s strength while Xander acquired his mystical energy, Scooter took his thoughts, and Oxnard gained his enhanced perception of reality.
The mystical power of Nishidor is what fused Xander to his spirit dragon, Maelstrom. Because of this, Xander lost his elven appearance and took on a more humanistic look with draconic features. As he knew he’d no longer be accepted back at his home world due to this disfiguration, he opted to change his name to Tealeon Maelstrom in honor of the spirit dragon that now had apparently become a permanent part of his being.
Of the four, Scooter was the least infused with the power of Nishidor. For this reason, his ability to fabricate objects out of thin air began to wane and, ultimately, made him susceptible to capture by mercenaries Fuxie and Nishi of the Quick and the Angry.
Upon being brought to Castle Bennet by Avis’ hired hands, Scooter found himself quickly bound to a dark alter where the corrupted king wasted no time in draining what power he had left. However, unbeknownst to either Scooter or Avis, there wasn’t much power left to transfer. Rather, it was Nishidor’s thoughts that largely found themselves siphoned into the dark lord’s body.
In the final battle, Scooter unknowingly used a trick he had picked up from Nishidor to transfer what he had left to Tealeon. This further empowered the heroic half-dragon with the strength to overpower the mighty Fuxie of the Quick and the Angry and, ultimately, defeat the malevolent, Avis Brightwing.
During the final transfer of power, Tealeon absorbed all the strength and mystical energy that Avis had stolen from Nishidor. This infusion immediately caused the former elf, now half-dragon, to complete his fusion with the dragon spirit, Maelstrom. This, combined with the wisdom of Nishidor, made his entire form draconic as he ascended to the level of an omnipotent planeswalker.
Transformation complete, Tealeon now had the power to separate the Master Brush from Oxnard’s body. This caused the loyal hamster to lose the ability to create things that those who were near him thought of. However, he did retain Nishidor’s advanced understanding of reality. He was also left with a slight, side effect that allowed him to slightly alter his size.
Lastly, as Tealeon, Oxnard, and Scooter moved on with their lives, Avis surprisingly found himself saved by the legendary, Dingus Duck. Despite a number of “changes” he had to go through over a series of months within the Dingus Duck’s saccharine world, the misguided king of Bennet found himself gifted with a second chance at life. Not only that, he also found that his body would be forever altered by his encounter with Nishidor by eternally bearing the colors and symbol of the fallen planeswalker. Furthermore, his dreams had now become plagued by visions of the robed wizard as he made his way through a forest calling out, “Thanks!”
All this known, one can only wonder what the events of Creative Campaign 2[/b] will have in store for all those who were touched by the great and kind-hearted planeswalker, Nishidor. Only through reading the story will you truly be able to find out.

Hurray! I'm so happy you liked it. *flutters*
I'm not much of an artist, so I thought a fun drawing with some story elements would make for a most wonderful way to celebrate your special day. After all, what would Creative Campaign[/i] be without everyone's favorite hero?

That doesn't matter, it's the fact that you took the time and effort to make something for someone else. And they story with it is excellent to boot. I can't draw like use to anymore so I am no one to criticize another's work. I think, if anything, your story telling is what makes you wonderful Mat; just look at all the other artists on here who have NO art, just stories; they're works of art too. So agaon, thank you very much bud.
Hehe, aww super cool! :D And it's a neat surprise hearing it's for his birthday. X3 Happy biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiirthday scaleybutt! (:
It's neat having an extra summary of the story more focused on these few characters. (: Having a simple read like this is nice, especially when you know there's way more behind it too! :3 I'll copy this bit and save it around too. X3
Woop woop! :D

This was a lot of fun to put together for Teal. Kind of like going out to dinner and a movie with a friend for a special day. However, as this is the internet, it's picture and a story for a friend. :) Oopa!
I'm glad you liked the summary, too. The final paragraphs before the, "read and find out" section were actually bits I really[/i] wanted to put into the two part Reunion saga. Avis' experience in Dingus Duck World plus bearing Nishidor's memories have served as quite an incentive to be on his best behavior. Though, as a side note, he'll never truly know why he hears the planeswalker calling out, "Thanks!" in his dreams. Rather, he'll always see it as Nishidor reminding him of what he's done and inspire him to never do such things again. :)
