I love this song and I love the story it tells but I still say the version you sung at the RMFC was better for the fact that you could really feel the music and be moved by the story it tells, and just as an idea with a song like this one you can just use the drums the bass guitar and your acoustic guitar and maybe add a voice over on some parts of the song to give it that feeling of this being a one time song.
