Hi guys. Sorry for my tardiness recently but my day job has really been sucking me up both time wise and mentally draining me.
For your enjoyment i present to you Breenoah Farland. Breenoah is actually the oldest character I have that still routinely appears in my dreamscapes. She popped into my head back in the late 80's before I had even discovered furry fandom.
Breenoah is a bit of an orphan. The sole surviving character from a story/ comic universe I poked around with back in my late college days. She was originally an alien who when I started having dreams in the universe with Rosemary and the gang she jumped ship and came over to that dreamscape.
She is a very well-centered character and has very calm soothing personality; that is rather amusing since she is now married to Ka-Rilka http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4085445 . She has a rather Belladandy-like quality to her, and would get long well with one of my other characters Rumiko http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1484784/. For this reason Breenoah is often the person people turn to when they have difficult questions and problems. In the palace of Andur she holds the official position of court liaison. She also holds the unofficial titles of "Aunt Breenoah" and "Lodge Mom".
Originally she was a professional courtesan and psionic with an emphasis on empathic communication. Once she swapped realities she instead discovered that she had a knack for magic. Especially shape changing. Now she is one of the most powerful mages in Andur. Although she does not flaunt her powers in public. She also assists Ka-Rilka with Jedel's lessons.
Several years ago when Breenoah married Ka-Rika she became partial infernal herself. She decided go with the big, graceful, black bird wings instead of the stereotypical demonic bat wings. They seem to go much better with her personality.

Ah, I was going to ask when I first saw the picture if she was from Upstairs, but big black feathered wings do seem more appropriate to her demeanour and mien. =)
The profile image is very well done, as Aelius said, very elegant and regal, and a touch matronly and... closest I can say is 'amused' or 'at peace' with the universe.

Well since was marrying "into family" she would be privy to some family secrets. By making her at least partially infernal it one showed her commitment to Ka-Rilka, and two it allowed them to bind her to several oaths of secrecy which keep her divulging certain aspects about "Upstairs" and "Downstairs". It was a "relatively painless" process.
Yeah she came through the process with very little fuss. Although she thought having the Wedding Reception in Las Vegas was silly. Besides it ended up being cut short anyways when Flippa and Flop thwarted a secret alien invasion of Earth by converting the Luxor Hotel's big light on top into a death ray/ laser thingie. Unfortunately it crashed the Western United States power grid in the process which cut the reception short. Of course this is not the first time that Flippa and Flop have brought down the power.
Ok I have relinked the image to this post. I admit that I have had problems getting links embedded in postings with the latest update of FA. The first time you try do a "copy and paste" it will let copy but when you try to paste it won't let you. Then after several attempts it suddenly starts being all happy and it gives me no further trouble. I'm running the latest version of Sea Monkey so I don't know if that is the problem or what?
The part that gets amusing is when Breenoah, Petina, and Vipera are talking about the future since they are roughly from about the same time in 24th Century.
I now Petina, Jackie and Vipera came from one future and Breenoah came from an alternate future. A rather radically different version.
Therefore you'll have times when they are talking about events in the future, or watching some Sci-Fi movie and one will say. "That's not how that thing works." Usually in connection to some cool futuristic piece of tech or theory. Then one of them will look at the other and start arguing future historical or tech details. Of the four only Jackie and Vipera can dissect thinks in great detail since Jackie's degree is in mechanical engineering and Vipera received the equivalent of Officer's School training growing up.

Well as my post stated she is actually not derived from any Earth born mammalian species. She is from a group of species referred to in their universe as Tigeans. In the current realities she is residing in, both Andur and 21th century USA, she is usually mistaken as some odd hybrid that do occur on rare occasions. If asked personally her preferred response is "I'm complicated".
