This is Ruby, she was purchased from someone I know through school. She's hand tame though a little stressed out right now.
I'm a little upset with him because he was supposed to be giving me the snake and her complete tank set-up. He ended up giving me a totally different tank with no bedding. The lid of the tank isn't the correct lid so I had to rig it to stay on.
Looks like I'm picking up a new tank come pay-day.
So since I have to get one I might as well get one she'll be able to fit in the rest of her life. Currently the tank she's in is a 20 gallon long. I'd love to know what you recommend as far as tank size and shape.
She's on paper towel because that was the best I could do for the evening so she didn't have to be on cold glass.

I used to be the "Great White Snake Hunter". The first thing I think of when I see a garter snake or lizard is how I'm going to catch it. It's just a quirk. Whenever I've had a garden, I would catch a garter snake and relocate it there. Superior pest control and easier noms for the snake.
Hondurans aren't really big snakes. In fact, she looks like she is not far from full grown in these pictures. A 20 gallon long is a perfect size for them. Hondurans don't need too much height, lots of floor space, as they aren't big climbers. But make sure she gets a nice big water bowl to chill in :). Good luck with her! She's a very pretty little girl :)
I know alot of people who keep there milksnakes on just paper towel and thats it, she wont mind at all :D I tell you what she is absaloutly stunning. I love MIlksnakes so much especially the pueblans. For her tank i would just recomend a 3ft or 4ft x 2ft really depends what you can afford. But usually the bigger the better.
Im getting A mexican black kingsnake soon and im keeping him in a 3ft x 2ft. I am so excited to get him! <333
