Just randomly felt like sketching a lot the last few days. Figured I'd share since all of these are characters of mine that have never been drawn before.
Going L to R:
top:
*Steve - Hyena Undecided personality. Straight. (still tweaking his look)
*Benjamin - weasel Neo pagan witch. Very into nature. Straight, paired with Jessie
*Sorcha – phoenix Geisha style. Quiet intellectual hermit type. Straight, paired with Jacob
middle:
*Atlas – lion Does the "greaser"/"rockabilly" look. Does modeling shoots randomly with Lydia. Straight, paired with Lydia
*Donny - Platypuss Undecided personality. Straight. (still tweaking his look)
*Eric - Kangaroo Raver. Laid back. Bisexual, paired with Justin
bottom:
*Darius – cat Eccentric, mistaken for 'mad' often. Sister is Chloe. Bisexual, paired with Ebola
*Jacob - Dragon Samurai style. Straight, paired with Sorcha (still tweaking his look)
*Valerie - Squirrel Undecided personality. Straight.

Just something he carries with him. I know there will likely be a story behind it. Mostly, I was just thinking of the movie Beetlejuice and the skeleton key that Lydia ended up with to the upstairs attic. Just something that's always had a 'gothic' flare to me. I actually collect old skeleton keys. heh.
