Lady Seiryuu was a researcher and a member of the influential Alchemy Council of the Eastern Continent. She was looked upon not only by her fellow mystics, but of the dominant Aristocracy and was once appointed as the minister of science.

But this came to pass when one day, a rival alchemist discovered her secret... Lady Seiryuu's experiments on people, using prisoners and vagabonds as guniea pigs for her grotesque experiments.

She was taken for trial, where she defended the horrors of her projects as she claimed that it is for the sake of the people themselves. Her crimes was punishable by death, but because of her high standing, her sentence was lowered to exile.

Lady Seiryuu merely smirked and said that it is of no matter, the kingdoms of the east no longer have anything to teach her and embarked on the first ship to Kingdom of Aurelius.
