
I don't have the name of the photographer who shot this image of me, but this was back during one of the jazz band concerts I played in during my college years. I was so much fatter back then. I was able to snag the photo in its original color version, as well as a black-and-white version and sepia-toned version. I decided to do the faux-artsy thing and show the three incarnations of the photo side-by-side. :3
As I recall, this photo was taken during my solo for a piece titled "Any Dude'll Do" (make a joke, and I'll maul you), under the direction of guest conductor/composer Bill Holman.

Of course you're not! This was before I met you...but I was already out at college, which was kinda big news in the hick country of southeast Texas where my college was. I got a LOT of flack for that song in college. I didn't volunteer to solo--a bari sax solo was written in that song.
