Alright, now that I'm back in civilisation, its time for me to get back to work. I got the idea of animating this picture shortly after drawing the sketch of Erika flying through space, I got the idea of actually animating it. So here you go, enjoy!
Oh and you can alter the speed she's travelling with left and right on the keyboard.

Praise first!.
I didn't anticipate the next trick under your sleeve would be to make a detailed and painted animation, good job!.
But... <here come the buts> ... of course, I know planet-sized jolteon-girls flying with bracelets should be unrealistic enough for me to not complain about this, but accepting one problem doesn't mean accepting them all :3 Ok, here is the problem I see:
In space, there's no air, there's no friction against her hair, therefore there is no turbulence. There is no need for her hair to move!, it should be locked going backward (remember there's no gravity either). That would've solved the problem of her hair not moving faster when the background moves faster too :3
Just my tiny 2 cents, don't squish me.

Haha, yeah, it was kinda spur of the moment thing to be honest. It was a quick project, just to test my animation abilities really. Anyway! As for the effects on the hair and such? I was pretty aware of them. Infact, I was pretty aware of them when I was drawing the sketch of this, which inspired this animation.
Anyway, I decided to add them in anyway, mostly for artistic purposes more than anything. Without them it looked really bland, they really helped make the whole thing look a lot more interesting, but also a whole lot faster. If you want to though, you can pretend its whatever you want. Maybe its the effects of moving at the faster than the speed of light against her constant but slight movements. Maybe its the effects of running into occasional tiny bits of space debris or solar winds, or different gravities from passing stars as she flies past. Maybe the rings create a tube that acts like a cylinder of wind that allows her to breath when travelling through space. Whatever you want n.n.
Oh and for the hair not moving faster when the background does? I most definitely considered trying to implement something like that, but in the end I just decided I couldn't be bothered, and decided to keep it simple.

See my reply to Pentalis up there. I should have mentioned this in the comments really, as I was perfectly aware of it.
