The Mystic is sort of like an upgraded Sorceress, except she's not evil and... isn't really like the Sorceress at all. Oops. She could be, though, if she ended up copying that card.
The Mystic acts like a Mime or Mimic class common to JRPG games - she can copy the ability, alignment, powers, and appearance from any other card in the game. Until she does this, however, the Mystic is like many of the other pink rainbow cards in that she has no real vested interest in either the plight of the Villagers or the victory of the Werewolves.
Really, I think she just likes to play dress-up.
This card was released as part of an expansion pack designed to supplement the Werewolf of the Dark Arts main deck. This expansion pack also introduces the Magistrate, Master of Teleportation, Mortician, and 4 'Mark" cards to be used with the Mortician.

TobiasAmaranth and I have put together for the game called Werewolf. It's also known as Mafia. It's a party game that pits Werewolves vs. Villagers. There's a lot of murder and dismemberment and witch hunting. Great for the kids.
A few of you may have seen some of these already on Toby's page or at a couple of cons that he's taken the cards to.
For more information and the rest of the cards, please see the website: http://werewolfdarkarts.com/

The cards are all up on the website for free, albeit at a low resolution, if you wanna try printing a few and running some games to see if you like it before committing to buy. :)
You can also email
TobiasAmaranth at tobiasamaranth[at]gmail.com if you're interested in just buying a full deck from him. I know he has some in stock right now, if you wanna nab one before they end up going to a con and selling out. :)

I've left a low-res version available for a few reasons, the two major ones being to let people try before they buy, and also as a thank-you nod to Zarf, the one who created the Werewolf concept. He lets people use his idea for free, and something about the idea of making the deck pay-only seems a bit insulting to his generosity.
I know we will loose a few sales because there is a low-res version available for free on the website, but most people seem to not want to deal with the hassle/expense of printing and cutting cards that are usable but won't be that nice looking or as durable as purchased ones. But, as long as people aren't trying to sell the cards/decks/art/etc., I'm ok with that. :)
There are some people who are using the characters and concepts of our version to LARP with, and they've reported that it's worked out pretty well.

They are actually standard playing card size, 2.5" x 3.5", but at 150dpi to make the text readable on a monitor. The ones I upload to FA are 200dpi so they make a better presentation, and the files we print from are much higher than that. We decided to go with a standard playing card size so the printed cards fit inside plastic card sleeves for better durability.
of course. but I mean, I wouldn't just tape them to a card, and short of putting them on mana cards from magic the gathering or something where you could glue it and it would actually stick, I think the best bet would be laminated, tho..... putting them in cardsleeves WITH mana cards or even standard old playing cards would work......
