That's right. It's strange even as far as vore is concerned...
Okay, maybe not that relatively weird, now that I think of it. :/
I'd had a thought for a creature that is slime-like by nature, but has a solid exterior when it's not feeding. Of course, directly related, it feeds by melting around its victim, taking it into its form, manipulating its liquid-esque insides to move its prey into its belly area, then resolidifying its extremeties. The prey feels no discomfort after being devoured, as its liquid-like inner cells are actually oxygen and nutrient-rich enough to sustain life, being living cells themselves. Having them in one's intake long enough begins a sort of assimilation effect, where the victim begins to feel as though just a part of their host, of course becoming so for real soon after.
I had also seen a Mama Bliss comic recently before drawing this, and found myself infatuated with that look of wide-eyed, helpless shock in it. Originally, I was just going to draw the first panel to give drawing that expression a try for myself. Clearly, I got carried away.
It's not quite the same, but my last slime vore picture is still by FAR the most viewed thing in my gallery. Maybe it'll happen again.

Interesting creature. In a way, it makes me think of a symbiote from the cartoon Spider-Man Unlimited. They worked kinda like that. The digestion also makes me think of a non painful and much faster version of how the sarlacc from the Star Wars universe does. I am curious though, when it's swallowing it's victim in this pic, is it really that see through when liquidy, or is that a cutaway to show what's going on?
The look on the creature's face in the second panel is too cute for words...it's really enjoying ya! ^^ Overall, very nicely done. It caused a bit of a shiver to me when I thought about it after seeing it here...there really -is- something fascinating here. Thanks for sketching this up. ^^
