This might sound strange to hear, but the scan looks better than the real life image. Mainly because my biggest weakness with traditional media is translating darkly colored characters from a digital reference to a traditional media drawing. If this were done in digital, it would look a lot nicer. :(

Also, the box with the name in it is not white. It's mint green. That color mint never scans, no matter what scanner I use. Weird.
