See? I've been doing some sketch work!...
Okay, so it's not great, but it is more than I've really done in a while.
yeah, there's lots of flaws here, but I still wanted to post it.
PATRICK FOSTER
Patrick Foster is a Glasswalker from Kalamazoo, Michigan. The only shared child of his kinfolk parents (his other 9 siblings are half-brothers and half-sisters who have one Garou parent), Pat never expected he would be the only one to be born Garou. His first change came unexpectedly on Halloween night and involved the murder of a neighbor woman and his waking up ontop of an office building in downtown Kzoo. He was whisked away to Chicago and suddenly had the burden of being Garou thrust upon him after having grown up among the Nation but never expecting it would be he who would have to carry the weight.
Born under the Gibbous moon, Pat's spiritual nature is that of the Theurge, but he's always questioning the ways, much like a Ragabash, which has always caused him grief.
He fears his Wolf for the monster that it is. He's never found peace with it and has separated his human nature and spiritual side from the powerful monster that seethes deep below the surface, which he works with great energy to keep subdued and hidden. He has only transformed a hand-full of times and it's always lead to terrible consequences to himself, or others around him, the most notable being his self-inflicted claw wounds on his chest that occurred during his maddened transformation.
Pat sees himself as Kinfolk, and respects kinfolk greatly. He knows they have the "support" role in Garou society, making it possible for Garou to conduct themselves as warriors without having to conduct themselves to the mundane tasks that would prevent them from the focus on the war to save Gaia.
Regardless, Pat still sees himself as a "Warrior of Gaia", but he prefers to use the tools of technology to give the Nation the tools necessary to defeat their enemy in this modern world. He is a computer programmer who's Grand Project is to create a method of creating a virtual world (similar to The Matrix) that would allow Moots to take place without Caerns being left without their most important warriors for meetings through Fetish-enhanced computer equipment.
After having lost most of his first pack in a botched attack in Cincinnati, Ohio, Pat took a mundane job in the city of Port Benjamin, Pennsylvania as a programmer for a company developing software for virtual computer simulations, which he is using as a cover for his greater project.
While in Port Ben, he's been dissuaded from joining the local Septs and has been pretty much ignored by the local Glasswalkers. He has only recently (and reluctantly) joined a pack when he couldn't afford the house he had been staying in.
Fortunately for him, Pat has found love with an Irish Get of Fenris fellow who he's fallen completely for. Fortunately, his pack is mostly Ragabash, so they turn a blind eye, even if it squicks them some that two Garou are in love in the house, but so far things are only looking up. They claim to want to help him learn to fight physically and maybe come to accept his Wolf... but he has serious doubts still.
The theme song for Pat is "The Beast in Me", as sung by Johnny Cash.
... though "Monster" by Skillet is also growing on me.
Character and Artwork are my creations.

Heck yeah! 'Course, I was surprised that they didn't turn to the Weaver officially much earlier on. *chuckles*
I really hope that White Wolf realizes that there are still some of us out here who would still be willing to purchase oWoD materials out here, even if it's digital copy, or print-on-demand books!
I know that there is no one official "How the story ended" ending for the oWoD, but with "Vampire: Eternal Struggle" CCG just having ended, and the V:tM MMORPG announcement at ICC the other day, there's still life out there and an audience for oWoD! So give us our Bastet and Garou back!... that's what I say!
Until then... I play my characters where I can, like Pat, who's fun, but complicated. ^.^

The whole story cancel wasn't the worst part for me. The worst part was that once again the bloodsuckers made it all the way to a fully functioning product, the video game, and werewolf got axed TWICE. The second time they were nearly finished and had a beta demo for people to sample when the plug was pulled. It pissed off fans and ruined Dreamforge's last chance to do something with their new morph engine. This in combination of finding no players, drove eventually to shelve everything. A series of fiction novels were written about 6 years ago however. Have all of them.
Nice rendition of a Garou there!
I have some very good memories of this game- I played and ran it for years. Esp fond of one moment when my Players managed and track a powerful Vampire, then right at the moment that Handel's Messiah which we had playing on the stereo broke into the 'hallelujah' section they pounced and destroyed the thing with a sunlight artefact and their claws...
