I could be lost or I could be saved,
calling out from beneath the waves
Needed to paint something badly! Began with a simple doodle in sketchbook and then played with color in photoshop. All I had was the character, the city just came along the way.

What ever you were testing, it sure is working for ya well. =D I didn't notice the rain, which really makes this city scene with the lighting and the smoke like some kinda empending doom event. I think i'm having a hard time trying to describe this atmosphere of darkness in my head, but this is quite impressing.
This painting reminds me that every night it rains or gets really cold outside, at least one person is out there, shivering, cold, and alone. This December, as we eat ourselves with turkey and warm ourselves around the hearth and home, let us remember those who do not have the choice to get out of the cold.
