On October 20th, LGBT along with all of their allies and supports are wearing purple to make a statement. In recent months, these children, and many more unnamed, have taken their lives after suffering the harassment and abuse of anti-lgbt bullying. Homosexuality is NOT a choice. These children did not need to die. These lives were precious gifts, and they were stomped out by the hate and loathing felt towards the LGBT community. I urge you to stand up against this hate.
If you see anti-lgbt harassment going on, step up and do something to stop it. If you see someone hurting, let them know that there are people who will listen. Too many voices have been ignored for too long. Proudly wear your blazing purple and tell everyone why.

These children will not be forgotten.

These deaths will not go unnoticed.

It may seem small now, but please help us bring an end to anti-lgbt harassment.

No one else needs to die.
