So I a while back I bought a mod at Spare Parts ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Risque%.....e/162/184/1144 ) to turn the Curious Ringtail ( http://slurl.com/secondlife/Curious/128/152/66 ) into a fox. Basically its new muzzle sculpts and new ear sculpts. Except... it came only in white. So what did that mean? Modding for me again! Except this time I am so very very happy with the outcome I cant tell you how much. Ive not only replaced the muzzle and ears with the mod kit sculpts, but I moved back the cheek ruffs further on the head so they didnt stick out so much.

For the texture itself, I of course had to make it black and white in my coloration. Took me about four hours to get it all lined up right. I added a faint red 'eyeshadow' above each eye, as well as some typical 'kitsune' markings on the forehead (as seen on various Noh masks) I also have a texture minus those markings as well. I may make the markings on a separate prim as the head prim stretches the texture out in weird ways. But thats for another day. This head I feel looks far more 'kitsune-ish' and I strongly believe is to become my new mainstay head. I like the KZK fox head a lot, but the muzzle is far too thick to be a proper fox muzzle. With this mod the muzzle is much longer and narrower and I like it a whole bunch better.

Ive also been thinking of making and selling 'markings' masks to add on to various fox avatar heads (as an overlay) in the patterns and designs from the kitsune noh masks, what do you think?
