(A little note. He doesn't actually smoke it. When stressed out he tends to start steaming from the inside. Any strong trauma can actually make this steam filled with soot and become smoke.)

Kuhntee is a tanuki (duhlol) which is an animal of Japanese origin.
But, though his heritage and how he was raised he is much more Chinese then your average tanuki.
There is actually a long story I've been working on to explain this.
