When you first upload an image to FA, it'll resize it. But if you upload it again with the same 'way too big' image dimensions, it'll keep the 'way too big' image full-sized.
Lets folks squeeze oversized images in (as long as they're small enough files) if they do something super-tall or super-wide like comic-pages or the like. =^.^=
